How To Get Here

The drive to AP is incredibly beautiful, scenic and provides many opportunities for wildlife and nature viewing. Cell service is very limited in and around AP, so make sure to get your GPS going before you make your way up the mountain.

Directions from Denver

Head north on I-25 N from Denver.
Take exit 217A to merge onto US-36 W toward Boulder.
Continue on US-36 W for approximately 13 miles.
Use any lane to turn left to stay on US-36 W.
Turn left onto Main St.
Continue on Main St and then turn left onto 5th Ave (signs for CO-7 N/Allens Park).
Continue onto CO-7 W.
Finally, turn left onto CO-7 BUS E.

However, we recommended to use GPS navigation or online mapping services due to the lack of cell service, and for real-time updates on road conditions and traffic.
